Smothered Steak, Roasted Red Skins and Steamed Vegetable
Serves 2 Cost $2.99 per person 
  • 2 Steaks
  •  Seasoning of choice
  • 1/2 C. Fresh Sliced Mushroom
  • 1/2 C. Sliced Onion
  • 1/2 C. Green Peppers
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil 
  • 2 Slices of Bacon (precooked)
  • 1/4 C. Shredded Cheese. 
  • 1-2 Red skin Potatoes
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper


Directions: preheat oven to 350, Clean Rinse and wash Potatoes, Slices potatoes about 1/4 inch. Brush with olive oil sprinkle top with salt and pepper and place on a greased cookie sheet in the oven for about 25 minutes. Season steaks and place a little oil so the season stays on. Place Sizzler on a indoor grill or broiler until steak is done to medium or medium well. Indoor grill such as a George Foreman takes 4-5 minutes and broiler takes a about 5 - 5.5 minutes per side. While steaks and potatoes are cooking go ahead and place the rest of you olive oil into a pan and sautee' mushrooms, peppers and onions. Remove steaks let rest for 5 minutes on a baking pan. Heat bacon in microwave. Place mushrooms,peppers, onions and bacon on top of steak. Sprinkle with cheese, pop back in oven until cheese is melted. Plate and Serve.! Enjoy!
